PAUL MADELEY

Paul Madeley is a London-based portrait photographer specialising in commercial, advertising, editorial, and design-led photography. His work focuses on capturing character, presence, and narrative, creating striking portraits for brands, agencies, and creatives across the UK.

Alongside commissioned commercial photography, Paul continues to develop personal and studio-based projects that refine his visual style and strengthen his creative voice. His recent shoots and ongoing work are regularly shared on Instagram, where he showcases current campaigns, editorial portraits, and personal projects.

With a background as a theatre director and choreographer, Paul brings a distinctive, performance-led approach to photography. This experience allows him to communicate clearly on set, direct with confidence, and create an environment where subjects feel relaxed, engaged, and expressive. His shoots are known for being collaborative, dynamic, and visually compelling.

Paul has worked extensively with the LGBTQIA+ community, producing portrait photography that celebrates identity, individuality, and self-expression. Recent highlights include photographing a charity campaign for MAC Viva Glam, featuring finalists from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
